My New Toy

I know I am late but I just got a new toy and love it. My iPad. I have been talking about getting one for at least a year now and I know that my friends and family were sick of me talking about it. I have been finding new thing to do with it every night since I got it. I love it. If you have and iPad or tablet what do you on yours?

Tot Tuesday: Miss G Let Down Your Hair

My little one has been a little hair challenged since 6 months old, when she lost most of her hair. It made me sad when she lost her hair and had little pieces all over her head. As L.L Cool J said, " I'm making a comeback", which exactly what her hair is doing. I have been able to put a little barrette in the top of her head for a while, so that people could stop asking me how old "he" was. This past week I was able to try to two little ponytails in her head. They were so cute. The only issue was that Miss G only kept them in for a short period of time.  She really does not like getting her hair combed but she is gets through it. I figure the more that I put the ponytails and barrettes in, the more she will get use to having her hair done.

It My Anniversary.......

Today is my 4th wedding anniversary. It is a time to reflect on what has happened and what it yet to come. I love my hubby and look forward to many more years together. As part of my reflection on one of the happiest days of my life here is a photo montage of my wedding pictures. Enjoy!!!

Wedded Wednesday: Wedding Inspiration

With tomorrow being my 4th wedding anniversary, I wanted to share a video that kinda inspired me. This romantic slide show is of Keisha Williams and Robert Gray wedding engagement, ( I wonder whatever happened to them). The photography was done by Ross Oscar Knight photography . When I heard the song that was played during it, I had to find it. I searched for months for the song and then I finally found it. The song is " I Need You" by Shekinah Glory. I loved the song so much I actually used it as the song that myself and my wedding party went down the aisle on. I hope that you love the slide show as well as the song.

Tot Tuesday: Outside......Yeah!

This week we have had some nice weather. Miss G and I have been exploring the outdoors whenever we can by taking walks, but yesterday we explored the yard. Miss G was not sure what the green stuff was, grass. She touched , she explored, she ran and she laughed. She preferred to be on the concrete, I think because she was a little more steadier than when she was on the grass. She was not to happy when mommy redirected her so that she would not pick up speed down the driveway. I found it interesting to see what interested her the most , like the mailbox and watching the neighbors pull into their driveway . Exploring the world with her is not only going to make the world brand new to her but it is going to make the world new to me. It was nice spending outside time with the little lady. I can wait to see what fun we can have as the weather gets warmer. Come on spring and summer.

Happy Monday!! Hope that you are making it a great day!

14 Months

Miss G is 14 months today. Wow. Miss G is growing so fast. She is reaching, climbing , walking and at times running with those little feet moving so fast. Miss G loves to play with her daddy, going for walks with her mommy, reading ( shall I say tearing ) the newspaper with Nana and having weekly phone conversations with Grandma. She is growing into her own with her little personality appearing. It has been amazing to see her discover new things and learn new things every week. I love to hear her laugh and see her smile each day. Can't wait to see what she is going to learn next. Miss G you are so loved.

Tot Tuesday: Our First Easter Egg Hunt

Well we went to our first Easter egg hunt this past Saturday. Miss G and I went with my friends Lynnette and Alena, who were both bridesmaids in my wedding, and there daughters Maya and Taylor. The first place that we went for a hunt said that they started at 10:00am and boy they were not kidding. We were pulling up and people were walking towards us..... it was over. We said since we had packed up the kids they were going somewhere to get them some eggs. We thus began our journey to another location that started at 11:00am. We got to the next location, pulled out strollers loaded up kids and as we were walking towards the site we heard the horn sound. As we got closer, we realized that it was the sounder for the 1-2 year olds. Heck! It did not stop us we just had the kids go with the 3-4 year olds. It was about a 15 minute wait, but the girls did well. Once the buzzer sounded, Miss G and Maya needed some help to getting in the flow of picking up eggs but Taylor was a pro. Miss G gath...
