7 Months

  It is hard to believe that she has been here for 7 months. Here is her update.... Size of Miss G.:  Miss G. was 17 1/2 pounds and 26 inches long at her last doctors visit, I am sure she weighs more than that now. I wont find out again how much she weighs until her 9 month check up.  Clothes: No more 3 months. She is wearing some 3-6 months, but mainly wearing 6 or 6-9 months. She is still wearing size 3 diapers even though they are a little bit. Size 2 are thongs on her. Movement: She is really moving. She likes to roll and grab for everything. She is sitting up on her own. She still enjoys playing with her feel and her hands. She likes to stand up and dance or "huck-a-buck" as my mother would say. Baby stuff: She still has some baby acne. It even has nerve to move to her chest area. Yuck.  She is teething. No teeth have broken through yet, but I am sure one or two will be popping through soon.  She is exploring more toys. She ...

Lunchtime Memories

image found The other day I packed my husband's lunch for work ( which is something that I never thought I would be doing on a consistent basis), oh I digress. The lunch consisted of a turkey with Miracle Whip on wheat bread sandwich, a bowl of Bob Evans chicken and noodles soup, an apple, a 100 calorie pack of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and a fruit snack. Well anyway, when I talked to Mr. J during his lunch break he said," I loved my lunch. It brought back such memories."  As he said it, I was thinking what was he talking about and got real silent on the phone. He said, "You do not remember. Do you?" I just said, "Yes, I do", but my tone was not confident and he knew that I did not remember. He said," One time when you surprised me and brought me lunch to work, you brought chicken and noodles soup and a turkey sandwich." I thought awww....he remembered. Once he said it, I remembered.
