Do You Like Scary Movies?

I was talking to some co-workers and we were talking about some of the horror movies that we all used to watch and some that we would not want to watch again. Here is our list:

  • The Omen

  • Amityville Horror

  • Damon

  • The Exorcist

  • It--(do not want to see anything about clowns)

  • Poltergeist--(really scared me when I was a kid)
  • Carrie

A couple of the movies that I did not like I kinda rationalize were Halloween and Friday 13th. I figured since I was not related to Mike Myers and I only went to band camp when I was a teenager, neither one those killers wanted me. Some of the movies that I thought were scary then, now look kinda silly to me now. Every Halloween, I get the urge to watch one with the stipulation that my husband watches it with me. I do not know why, since most of the time I sit with my hand over my eyes looking at every other scene.

Do you have any scary movies that you like or will not watch again? Let us know so that some of us can either avoid them or rent them for the Halloween holiday.

I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. It would be filled with antiques and have a large sitting area. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

Wedded Wednesday: Wife +Sick Hubby =Medical Degree

I posted  last week about my husband being sick. Even though he is feeling better, he went to his doctor to make sure everything was OK. His doctor in-turn referred him to a specialist, to make sure as well. When I asked him what was the specialist going to do, he said " I do not know. Probably just check me out."  That did not sit well with me, so I decided that I needed to attend the appointment with him. We attended the appointment. He signed in at the front desk and the receptionist asked for the paperwork sent. He of course looked at me......especially since I was the one who fill out the paperwork. I am not sure why I filled out his paperwork, probably because he asked me to, but I never have him fill out my medical paperwork. I digress. We were escorted back to the exam room. The nurse was really nice. As she began to ask for some of the medical information, I found myself answering more of the questions than he was. Maybe I should have been quiet. The doctor eventua...
