Hitting the Slots


Today is a short post. My mom and I are hitting the slots and going on a casino trip today.  I have my limit set and will not be gambling over it. I already know what I will be doing as soon as I get to the casino, looking for the slot machines that I  like to play. I only like to play certain ones, maybe because I think that they will bring me luck.  I am sure no matter how much we win or lose my mom and I will have fun together. Wish us luck!!

Wedded Wednesday: Thanksgiving Traditions

With the holidays coming,  I am thinking about how I want to spend them with the hubby. We do the same thing every year for Thanksgiving and make a road trip to spend it with his family. I usually go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving starting at 3:00am and usually come home and sleep the rest of the day. I was looking at starting some sort of new traditions on the Saturday after Thanksgiving that we can do for years to come. Maybe like putting up the Christmas tree (this is my vote), taking an annual holiday photo, doing some shopping together or maybe doing something relaxing like getting a couples massage. Of course, we will have to throw in some football and lots of left overs whatever we decide to do.Building new traditions, will be the traditions that will continue in our family  and define the holidays for years to come.  Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?
