Music Monday-- Art of Noise

I absolute love this song. It used to be the intro to the quiet storm radio show that I used to listen to on the local R & B station. I wanted the song so much I went out and bought the whole cd, just for the extended version of this song. It is a staple on my love song cd's that I like to listen to.

When I was in high school, my friends and I want to have this song be our senior prom theme. Since some seniors did not know what they song was, it lost as our prom theme by a small margin. Can you hear the bitterness in my tone? We ended up with Here and Now" by Luther Vandross as our prom theme. Nothing aganist Luther, but I did not like the song.

Well anyway, happy Monday.

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

Wedded Wednesday: Thanksgiving Traditions

With the holidays coming,  I am thinking about how I want to spend them with the hubby. We do the same thing every year for Thanksgiving and make a road trip to spend it with his family. I usually go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving starting at 3:00am and usually come home and sleep the rest of the day. I was looking at starting some sort of new traditions on the Saturday after Thanksgiving that we can do for years to come. Maybe like putting up the Christmas tree (this is my vote), taking an annual holiday photo, doing some shopping together or maybe doing something relaxing like getting a couples massage. Of course, we will have to throw in some football and lots of left overs whatever we decide to do.Building new traditions, will be the traditions that will continue in our family  and define the holidays for years to come.  Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?
