10 Years

I got tagged again and a wonderful blog award from Mrs. Sergeant. Thanks so much!!!

The rules to this tag are:
  • Post where you want to be in 10 years
  • Past it on to 10 fellow bloggers

Hmmmm....where do I want to be in 10 years? Let me see... In 10 years, I would like to be a mommy with maybe 1 to 2 children (but that is still under contact negotiations) and will be shuffling the kids to dance class and football practice. I also would like to be completed with my Ph.d in Special Education. I would like to have added an addition to my home so that I can have a bathroom in our master bedroom and maybe additional bedroom added to the home. I would be looking at 20 more years until I retire from my job and will be planning what I am going to do after working since I was 16. I will be celebrating my 11th wedding anniversary, by finally getting my husband on a cruise ship to see the Caribbean. In ten years, I still be taking each day as it comes, with the grace of God guiding and keeping me.

The ten bloggers that I am passing this on to are.......

Congrats! :) I love thinking about ten years from now ... at our age, ten years makes a HUGE difference. Way exciting about the kids/the PhD! I hope all your dreams come true :)

Thanks for doing this. I hope your husband gets on that boat, the caribbean is amazing and he needs to see it! Good luck on getting that Ph.d! I know you'll do it and we'll celebrate! I hope you also get those children on the contract as they'll be beautiful, funny, smart, and just downright amazing, and completely blessed to have a mom like you. :-) Hope you're having a good weekend!

I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. It would be filled with antiques and have a large sitting area. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

Wedded Wednesday: Wife +Sick Hubby =Medical Degree

I posted  last week about my husband being sick. Even though he is feeling better, he went to his doctor to make sure everything was OK. His doctor in-turn referred him to a specialist, to make sure as well. When I asked him what was the specialist going to do, he said " I do not know. Probably just check me out."  That did not sit well with me, so I decided that I needed to attend the appointment with him. We attended the appointment. He signed in at the front desk and the receptionist asked for the paperwork sent. He of course looked at me......especially since I was the one who fill out the paperwork. I am not sure why I filled out his paperwork, probably because he asked me to, but I never have him fill out my medical paperwork. I digress. We were escorted back to the exam room. The nurse was really nice. As she began to ask for some of the medical information, I found myself answering more of the questions than he was. Maybe I should have been quiet. The doctor eventua...
