Fill in the Blank Friday

1.  If I could choose my last meal it would be  the ultimate feast from Red Lobster that has snow crab legs, lobster, shrimp scampi and fried shrimp. I would top it off with two scoops of mint chocolate chip ice cream in a waffle cone  .

2.  My favorite person to share a meal with is   Mr. J  because,    we often order different meals that we can taste what is one each others plate, but we have good conversation  .

3.  The best meal I've ever had was    is when my mom makes lasagna, in which she does not do often .

4.  The one food that makes me feel instantly better when I'm having a bad day is         a can of Sprite, in which I call my crack, or ice cream .

5.  My absolute specialty in the kitchen is    my family enjoys me making chili or beef stew    .

6.  The city that has the best food is    Las Vegas    and my favorite restaurant there is   the seafood buffet at the Flamingo Casino and Hotel. I think I can spend most of my time at the buffet. That is a real fat crime.

7.  My favorite healthy snack is     when I mix Craisins with sunflower seeds and peanuts   .

8.  In my opinion the nationality which has the best food is    very hard for me to choose. I love things about Chinese, Italian and Mexican cuisine     .

9.  If I could learn to cook anything in the world (and be really good at it!) I'd choose    pasta. I would love to learn how to make homemade pasta and dumplings  .

10.  The most outrageous dessert I've ever had was      I made a Snickers cake. It takes 8 Snickers bars which you put  6 within the batter and 2 to sprinkle on top of the rich chocolate icing that is made for the cake. The cake is so rich..you need to make sure that you have a large glass of milk.

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. It would be filled with antiques and have a large sitting area. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

Wedded Wednesday: Wife +Sick Hubby =Medical Degree

I posted  last week about my husband being sick. Even though he is feeling better, he went to his doctor to make sure everything was OK. His doctor in-turn referred him to a specialist, to make sure as well. When I asked him what was the specialist going to do, he said " I do not know. Probably just check me out."  That did not sit well with me, so I decided that I needed to attend the appointment with him. We attended the appointment. He signed in at the front desk and the receptionist asked for the paperwork sent. He of course looked at me......especially since I was the one who fill out the paperwork. I am not sure why I filled out his paperwork, probably because he asked me to, but I never have him fill out my medical paperwork. I digress. We were escorted back to the exam room. The nurse was really nice. As she began to ask for some of the medical information, I found myself answering more of the questions than he was. Maybe I should have been quiet. The doctor eventua...
