Weekend Sweeps

Friday

I had a busy day at work and then relaxed by going to the line dancing class for a little exercise. It was a great workout.  After class and watched a little TV until I fell asleep.

Saturday

I had the rare opportunity to sleep in until 11:00am. Have not done that in a long time. Spent the day with my mom making a few rounds to the some local stores.

Came home and watched the movie Valentine's Day with the hubby.

Sunday

Had a great services at church. I am the supervisor of the Youth Ushers at my church and we have had some of the kids graduate from high school, which has lead to the lack of ushers. We had some new ushers join at the last practice and had a full row of ushers on Sunday morning. Yeah!!!!

After service I came home and made me a sandwich and then took a 2 hour nap (must have been all the excitement from having some many ushers).  I made chicken pot pie for dinner. The hubby and I then watched Bob's Burgers and Family Guy. I had never seen Bob's Burgers before, but it was so funny. I needed a good laugh.

Wedded Wednesday: Wife +Sick Hubby =Medical Degree

I posted  last week about my husband being sick. Even though he is feeling better, he went to his doctor to make sure everything was OK. His doctor in-turn referred him to a specialist, to make sure as well. When I asked him what was the specialist going to do, he said " I do not know. Probably just check me out."  That did not sit well with me, so I decided that I needed to attend the appointment with him. We attended the appointment. He signed in at the front desk and the receptionist asked for the paperwork sent. He of course looked at me......especially since I was the one who fill out the paperwork. I am not sure why I filled out his paperwork, probably because he asked me to, but I never have him fill out my medical paperwork. I digress. We were escorted back to the exam room.
