Weekend and a Remix

Weekend sweeps......what weekend sweeps. It was a busy weekend. On Friday, I attend a scrapbooking fellowship at my church. I was not able actually scrapbook , since I was preparing for Saturdays events. I did have a chance to assist my mom with my her page and enjoyed some good food. I came home and decorated some cupcakes to take with me to Saturdays event. I did eventually made it to bed and it felt so good.  Saturday,   I woke up early to get to church for the women's fellowship seminar that I was the chair of. I was pleased that everyone who attended seemed to enjoy the classes that were offered and the fellowship that was had. After such a busy morning, I was ran a few errands and was ready to get home to relax. I thought that I was going to watch the OSU game with the hubby, but I got in the
bed and fell asleep to HGTv. Sunday, had a good women's day service at church. We had excellent speaker in Sis. Patricia Ross.  Once church was over, I came home and did a few things and then the hubby and I went to dinner.  We came home and relaxed. Luckily, I had Monday off since it was Columbus Day to relax some more.

Yoga
  • Tried Prenatal Yoga for the first time today. It was so relaxing and the stretching felt really good. If you are pregnant and want a good stretch or workout try this video. I recommend it.
  • Hopefully I will be able to go to the apple picking farm in the next weekend or two.
  • I am tired already of all of the political ads.
  • Did you see Kim Kardashian's wedding this weekend on E!? I saw parts of it and Tivo the rest. What I saw was a little obsessive. What do you think?
  • There are 2 months until Christmas and I am still watching QVC's 75 days of Christmas. Wow..I am getting a few ideas.
  • I am loving all the fall colors on the leaves.
  • WELCOME new followers!!!!

I have actually been thinking about trying prenatal yoga. I've been feeling really sore and I think doing some yoga will help with that and help when it comes to labor.

I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. It would be filled with antiques and have a large sitting area. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

Wedded Wednesday: Wife +Sick Hubby =Medical Degree

I posted  last week about my husband being sick. Even though he is feeling better, he went to his doctor to make sure everything was OK. His doctor in-turn referred him to a specialist, to make sure as well. When I asked him what was the specialist going to do, he said " I do not know. Probably just check me out."  That did not sit well with me, so I decided that I needed to attend the appointment with him. We attended the appointment. He signed in at the front desk and the receptionist asked for the paperwork sent. He of course looked at me......especially since I was the one who fill out the paperwork. I am not sure why I filled out his paperwork, probably because he asked me to, but I never have him fill out my medical paperwork. I digress. We were escorted back to the exam room. The nurse was really nice. As she began to ask for some of the medical information, I found myself answering more of the questions than he was. Maybe I should have been quiet. The doctor eventua...
