26 Weeks

Size of Baby: Baby J is about the length of a cucumber. Baby J is still the same size as last week.

Maternity Clothes: Trying to mix it up some with different tops. I feel most comfortable with tank tops ( or AKA wife beaters) and cardigans. I have found some really cute ones at Old Navy.

Gender:  Still not telling.

Movement: Lots and lots of movement. Sometimes it feels kinda weird. Baby J is moving alot more than last week and more often when I am working at my desk at work.

Sleep: Getting more energy back, but some days I really just want to sleep.

What I Miss: Still doing more things for myself.

Cravings: I really have been wanting veggies with the occasional evening sweet.

Symptoms: Taking the occasional nap at work and not realizing it. Not good. I have noticed the last week or so that my ankles are swollen when I get home.

Moment of the Week: Feeling the baby move more. Taking the gestational diabetes test tomorrow.....we will see how it goes. I have heard that it is yucky.

I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. It would be filled with antiques and have a large sitting area. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

Wedded Wednesday: Wife +Sick Hubby =Medical Degree

I posted  last week about my husband being sick. Even though he is feeling better, he went to his doctor to make sure everything was OK. His doctor in-turn referred him to a specialist, to make sure as well. When I asked him what was the specialist going to do, he said " I do not know. Probably just check me out."  That did not sit well with me, so I decided that I needed to attend the appointment with him. We attended the appointment. He signed in at the front desk and the receptionist asked for the paperwork sent. He of course looked at me......especially since I was the one who fill out the paperwork. I am not sure why I filled out his paperwork, probably because he asked me to, but I never have him fill out my medical paperwork. I digress. We were escorted back to the exam room. The nurse was really nice. As she began to ask for some of the medical information, I found myself answering more of the questions than he was. Maybe I should have been quiet. The doctor eventua...
