Weekend Sweeps

On Friday,  went line dancing class and came home and relaxed. Saturday,  went to a birthday party for my friend Rachel's son Everett. He turned one. He was so cute. It was fun watching all the kids playing at the party. It was nice that during the party that the "big kids" were allowed to watch the Ohio State game. Go Bucks!!!! After the party,  made a trip to Sam's Club and then went meet my friend Bev. We went to El Vaquero to eat, my favorite Mexican restaurant, and Burlington to do one of my baby registries. It was really overwhelming looking at all of the baby stuff. What to get and what not to get. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know, I need to do a registry at a couple of other stores. Sunday, went to church as usual. Then spent the rest of the afternoon gathering furniture, including a crib from various people to start to get the baby's room together. Even though I was not doing a lot of the moving, I was still tired from the days events. My hubby ended up making his famous spaghetti sauce, so that we can have spaghetti for dinner and the next few days. After a yummy meal and already being tired, I was ready to go to relax in my bed and watch TV.

It was a good weekend and I hope that you had a good weekend as well.

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. It would be filled with antiques and have a large sitting area. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

Wedded Wednesday: Wife +Sick Hubby =Medical Degree

I posted  last week about my husband being sick. Even though he is feeling better, he went to his doctor to make sure everything was OK. His doctor in-turn referred him to a specialist, to make sure as well. When I asked him what was the specialist going to do, he said " I do not know. Probably just check me out."  That did not sit well with me, so I decided that I needed to attend the appointment with him. We attended the appointment. He signed in at the front desk and the receptionist asked for the paperwork sent. He of course looked at me......especially since I was the one who fill out the paperwork. I am not sure why I filled out his paperwork, probably because he asked me to, but I never have him fill out my medical paperwork. I digress. We were escorted back to the exam room. The nurse was really nice. As she began to ask for some of the medical information, I found myself answering more of the questions than he was. Maybe I should have been quiet. The doctor eventua...
