Do You Have the Time?

My husband claims that I am a shopaholic. I admit that I do enjoy shopping for shoes, purses, and  for clothes too. Mr. J has turned into one as well, but he is only shopping on one thing....Invicta watches. For the past several weeks, he has been watching Shop NBC for the 1-3 hour showings of the watches. As he watches he talks about the color, the size and which watch he likes the best. He talks about the Swiss movement of the watch and the self winding mechanics as I see there like WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT.  When I look at him when he is watching the show he has this glazed look on his face, I recognize the look because my face looks exactly the same when I am looking at a Coach purse or a fabulous pair of shoes.

A few weeks ago, I came home early from work and the UPS truck came to our house. I saw Mr. J skitter with a package to the basement or what is otherwise known as "the man room". As I continued to asked what was in the box, he just said nothing. I know that game, I do it everytime he recongizes something new that I have purchased. Well, come to find out, he treated himself to one of these watches. I am not upset about it, since I always treat myself and my husband never buys anything for himself. I must admit the watches are kinda  of nice and it does look good on his wrist. He has asked for another one for Christmas....but he might have to talk to Santa about that.

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. It would be filled with antiques and have a large sitting area. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

Wedded Wednesday: Wife +Sick Hubby =Medical Degree

I posted  last week about my husband being sick. Even though he is feeling better, he went to his doctor to make sure everything was OK. His doctor in-turn referred him to a specialist, to make sure as well. When I asked him what was the specialist going to do, he said " I do not know. Probably just check me out."  That did not sit well with me, so I decided that I needed to attend the appointment with him. We attended the appointment. He signed in at the front desk and the receptionist asked for the paperwork sent. He of course looked at me......especially since I was the one who fill out the paperwork. I am not sure why I filled out his paperwork, probably because he asked me to, but I never have him fill out my medical paperwork. I digress. We were escorted back to the exam room. The nurse was really nice. As she began to ask for some of the medical information, I found myself answering more of the questions than he was. Maybe I should have been quiet. The doctor eventua...
