Tag Your It!

I have been tagged by Heather at "Heather Drive". I have not done one of these in a while so I am looking forward to doing this. The rules are as follows:
  • List 10 things that make you happy.
  • Tag 10 other bloggers and link back to the person who tagged you.
Well, here it goes.......
  1. TiVo. I love me some TiVo. I sometimes wonder how we made it this long without it.
  2. Shoes. Finding and wearing a great pair of shoes makes me happy.
  3. Reading a good book. There is nothing like being engrossed in a great story.
  4. Hanging out with the hubby.
  5. Going to thrift stores with my mom. She always finds the best stuff, but it seems like I always spend more money than she does.
  6. Eating chicken and steak fajitas at El Vaquero Mexican restaurant. I love fajitas.
  7. Getting my hair and nails done. It makes me so relaxed and feel so pretty.
  8. Traveling. I like seeing new places and experiencing new things.
  9. Taking a nap.
  10. Sitting on my deck in the summertime, with some lemonade or ice tea.
Now I tag......

  1. Aarika at " The Peach Post"
  2. Lauren at " The Little Things We Do"
  3. Jules at "Chic & Pink"
  4. Kelly at "The Start-Up Wife"
  5. Mrs. Sergeant at " Air Force. Wife. Life."
  6. Tania at " Journey To Together"
  7. Christy at " Princess Christy"
  8. Christin at " A Classy, Southern Bride"
  9. Conscious Bride at " The Aisle File"
  10. Patti at "Welcome to Mrs. Smithville"
I can not wait to read your responses.  One more day until the weekend.....one more thing that makes me happy.

Thank you for tagging me in this fun game and I’ll be sure to do it! Sorry I’m a little late to the party on this one.

We have some of the same things that make us happy. I love my DVR and would miss my favorite shows without it. I also love Mexican food, manis & pedis, traveling and relaxing in the summertime!

Wedded Wednesday: Wife +Sick Hubby =Medical Degree

I posted  last week about my husband being sick. Even though he is feeling better, he went to his doctor to make sure everything was OK. His doctor in-turn referred him to a specialist, to make sure as well. When I asked him what was the specialist going to do, he said " I do not know. Probably just check me out."  That did not sit well with me, so I decided that I needed to attend the appointment with him. We attended the appointment. He signed in at the front desk and the receptionist asked for the paperwork sent. He of course looked at me......especially since I was the one who fill out the paperwork. I am not sure why I filled out his paperwork, probably because he asked me to, but I never have him fill out my medical paperwork. I digress. We were escorted back to the exam room. The nurse was really nice. As she began to ask for some of the medical information, I found myself answering more of the questions than he was. Maybe I should have been quiet. The doctor eventua...

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. It would be filled with antiques and have a large sitting area. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...
