How to Pick A Baby Name?

name
The hubby and I have been going back and forth on some baby names. It is a really hard decision, when you are giving someone a name that is going to define and effect them for the rest of their life. In doing some research on baby names, I ran across an article on Babble about the best and worst celebrity baby names in 2011. Here are a few of the contenders that made their and Nameberry lists.....

Best
  • Willow Sage Hart--- Pink and Corey Hart's daughter
  • Mason Evan Smith--- Ne-Yo's son
  • Arabella -- Ivanka Trump's daughter
  • Haven-- Jessica Alba's daughter
Worst
  • Moroccan Cannon -- Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's son
  • Bear Blu Jarecki-- Alicia Silverstone's son
  • Mirabella Bunny--- Bryan Adam's daughter
What is in a name? What do you think? Are there any bad or good names? If you have a child, how did you pick your child's name?

I think more people should take more caution in choosing names for their children. I don't have kids yet, but one thing I know I won't do is give my child a name that's confusing or difficult to pronounce. I always think "What will an employer's first impression be when they see my child's name on a resume?" It's sad to have to think this way, but it's reality.

I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. It would be filled with antiques and have a large sitting area. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

Wedded Wednesday: Wife +Sick Hubby =Medical Degree

I posted  last week about my husband being sick. Even though he is feeling better, he went to his doctor to make sure everything was OK. His doctor in-turn referred him to a specialist, to make sure as well. When I asked him what was the specialist going to do, he said " I do not know. Probably just check me out."  That did not sit well with me, so I decided that I needed to attend the appointment with him. We attended the appointment. He signed in at the front desk and the receptionist asked for the paperwork sent. He of course looked at me......especially since I was the one who fill out the paperwork. I am not sure why I filled out his paperwork, probably because he asked me to, but I never have him fill out my medical paperwork. I digress. We were escorted back to the exam room. The nurse was really nice. As she began to ask for some of the medical information, I found myself answering more of the questions than he was. Maybe I should have been quiet. The doctor eventua...
