Music Monday--Steve Perry

When I was growing up it was cool to stay up and listen to a radio station name Sunny 95 and listen to the love songs. You were not cool unless you could name 5 songs that were played at the lunch table the next day. This song was on the playlist nightly. If anyone knows, is this the only solo project Steve Perry did? Have a happy Monday! !

Music Monday--Jodeci

Love this group..to bad they are not still together. They created some of the best songs of the 90's. This one of my favorite songs of theirs. I remember going to parties and when their songs came on the dance floor would get so crowded that you were stuck like glue to your dance partner. I miss those parties. Have a happy Monday !!!!

Happy 5th Month Anniversary

I Got a New Toy

I got a new toy....a Blackberry Curve. I love the orange color of it, but immediately went to eBay and found a zebra print hard cover for it. I got it for a great deal on the cover of $4.00 with free shipping. I can not wait until it arrives. I like all of the neat features on the phone, but I will definitely have to spend time playing with it to figure out all of the tools. When I got the phone the salesman, Brad (who was really helpful) gave a great website for Blackberry users call Crackberry . I have been on it several times. Once I figure my phone out, maybe I can start posting from there. Wish me luck!!! Image found here

One Kings Lane

Since the wedding is done we have been starting to some home improvements on our house. We got the house painted (show that to you later), getting new furniture for the man room and living room, rearranging the basement and shed and trying to get our master bedroom together. I have found a neat site that offers home living accessories and decor. One Kings Lane has great stuff at reasonable prices. Membership is free, but you need to be invited by a member. If you would like an invite email or respond to this post with your email address, I will gladly send you an invite.

Are You Ready For Some Football?

Fall is upon us and the first Ohio State University football game takes place today. Like with any other OSU game, the town will be a ghost town when the game begins (best time to go shopping if you are not interested in the game). Yah!!! I am not really a football junkie, but I will watch a Ohio State game. I am hoping that since I have to go to my sister-in-laws housewarming party when the game comes on that her husband will have the TV on showing it. I have high hopes for a good season. Lots of new recruits and a some seasoned players on the team. I think will make for a good mix. Now there is nothing else to say but..................... GO BUCKS!!!! Have a great football weekend!!!!!

Bonfire....No Fire

Mr. J and I attended a bonfire this past weekend....there was only one problem there was no fire. When we arrived at the event, we could see the fire from the road. Boy, were we glad to see people since we were out in the middle of no where in the dark. The fire roared on for about 30 minutes after we arrived, but slowly faded. The host tried to add lighter fluid and even gasoline to make it stay, but the fire wanted to go away. Note to self.... when planning to invite people over for a bonfire you might want to put the wood in the garage or at least cover it so that it does not get wet if it rains. This would be what the host of this bonfire did not do. So I allowed Mr. J to socialize with his friends as I sat wrapped up in a blanket as listened to a group of women singing Michael Jackson songs. I must say they were great for a laugh. After about 45 more minutes, I gave up and asked Mr. J if we could leave since I was cold and getting tired of playing Pac Man on my cell phone. He
