Sweeping Through Life

Miss G went for her 2 month check up this week and she weighed 10 pounds 8 ounces. She was 21 1/2 inches long. She has been sleeping more in her bed. She is not sleeping through the night yet, but she is sleeping for longer periods of time. Most of the people I polled stated that their babies started sleeping through the night between 8-9 weeks, well I guess since Miss G is 8 weeks now I thought she would be sleeping through the night. Every baby is different, I just hope that we have some sort of schedule before I go back to work. Her newborn diapers are like bikinis on her, so we have moved to 1's. She started smiling more while awake. She loves to take baths.

1.   One of life's most simple pleasures is   is a Faygo red pop and potato chips while watching 16 Candles. 2.     When people cut me off or make stupid maneuvers when driving    makes me want to punch someone. 3.  I like   my husband     because,     he is funny . 4.     Giggles   is a funny word. 5.  If I had to choose one beauty product to use for the rest of eternity it would be   any Carol's Daughter hair product . 6.  I'm happy that     I get to sleep in tomorrow    . 7.  I would never      choose to go to a nudist colony. I am happy with my body, but the thought of all those naked people sitting around on all that furniture kinda icks me. Do they disinfect after use? .

Are we surprised that  on Kate Plus 8, the children nanny is walking out this week on the show, because she can not deal with Kate? Why are people rushing for Kate and William to have a baby when they just got married? Why do people leave hateful comments on other peoples blogs? If you do not like what they have to say, don't go to that blog. Should Christians believe in the death penalty? Do you think that fast food restaurants really serve health food choices?

1. Did you Project Runway last night? I did. 2 . Have you finished any of your summer reads? I have one down, review to come,  and three more to go. I have noticed that I have been reading more magazines while sitting on the deck this summer. 3.I like the warmth of summer, but the heat advisories are a little ridiculous. I guess I should be be quiet because I will want the warmth in about 6 months. 4. I can not believe the month will be over in three days. 5. T hank G od I t is F riday. As I began to write this post, I thought what are the best things about Friday. Here is what I came up with. Jeans day at work. Pizza night. Can stay up as late as I want and sleep in on the next day. Watching whatever weird movie is on cable. Line dancing class.  What do you think is best about Fridays? Have a great Friday and weekend.

When you are driving and someone cuts you off or does a dumb maneuver, don't you wish that you had a large hand come out of your car  hood and pop them upside their head? When you are telling someone something that they do not want to hear, why do they think that crying is going to change what you just said? Why do police officers offer people that they are interrogating cigarettes, when smoking in most public buildings is illegal? (  I have been watching the First 48) Why does summer seem to go by so fast and winter go so slow? Why when you go into Walmart or Target for a few items and you leave with a cart full?

Can you tell why Toni Braxton and Sinbad need reality shows? Why do you need to have a baby on board sign in your car, when we see the car seat in the back seat? Only 17 more days until spring. Yeah!!! At some point, can my state fill the pot holes in the highway so that I can stop playing dodgeball when I am driving. Why oh, WHYYYYY....do I have to spring my clock ahead in a week. Nooooo, I like my extra hour of sleep.

Why does it seem like there is an increase of weight loss ads right before the new year? Is this the only time that people want to lose weight? When we put up our Christmas displays, should the Navitiy scene be next to Frosty the Snowman? Why is it that we always think about what we would have changed about the year passing instead of what was great about it? Do black eye peas, pork and cabbage really bring you good luck? I will remember 2010 as the year of my first wedding anniversary. What will you remember about 2010?

Why can't Christmas come several times a year? Wait a minute, it is because we would all be broke all the time. Why can't Christmas cookies be low-fat and still taste good? I am going to miss all of the Christmas movies that all the channels have be showing. Why can't we look at all of the pretty lights all year long? Why can't the spirit of Christmas last beyond the holidays? Merry Christmas

Sorry, been gone so long. I have been having internet and computer issues. I use to try to update at work, but they blocked me. I will be back posting more often soon. Had a good Thanksgiving and hope that you did too. GO Bucks....today is the big game with the team up north. Remembering my grandfather, William, on this day for he would have been 92 this month. Is every President or First Lady required to write a book once out of office? If you are wearing flip-flops and a sweatshirt are you cold or hot? Why do the holidays always seem to always come so fast? Are you ready for Harry Potter? Why are there so many mirrors in the gym?

 image found  Why am I currently obsessed with honeycrisp and gala apples with fat free caramel dip? Yummy. Must be a fall thing. Why is it that the first day of fall that it is 98 degrees outside? Fall weather is cool at night which is great for sleeping, but it sure makes it hard to get up in the morning. When did Halloween become such a big holiday that decorations start showing up in store before the end of August? (which does not bother me since I like Halloween) Fall leaves are so pretty, but such a pain to rake up.

My invitation must have been lost in the mail for Chelsea Clinton's wedding.  Have you ever noticed much tanner your left arm gets than the right one in the summer since it is always by your driver side window? I can not believe that it is August. There are 145 days until Christmas. Have you started shopping yet? Do remember how funny the show, "The Golden Girls" was? Lifetime shows it every night. Sometimes I watch it to get a good laugh before bed. Have they created a chewing gum that you can get more than 5 chews out of before it loses its flavor?

1. Are you going to stand in line today to get flip flops at Old Navy for $1.00? I am always ready for a sale and love flip flops, but I can not see myself standing line for flip flops. Besides I think if  I brought another flip flop in the house, my husband would have a fit.  2. I just got done ready Tori Spelling's sTori TELLING. I know, I know I am behind. I really found the book interesting. It was an easy read. I watch her show and of course I watched the original 90210 that she was on. Even though she is a start I think that she seems really down to earth. The book really made me appreciate the relationship that I have with my mother.  I just purchased Mommywood and started reading it. I had to complete the set. 3. Why does every season finale of the shows that I enjoy watching have to take place on the same night and at the same time? Thank goodness for TiVo. 4. Why does healthy food have to be so expensive?  5. Why can't every weekend be a three day weekend? ...

I weighed in today for The Biggest Loser contest at my job. I lost some weight..check out my ticker on the side. I need to keep it up. In this contest we have to pay $.50 if you maintain or $1.00 if you gain. I am not trying to pay anymore money than the registration fee that I did pay. I have been really watching my food and have been drinking lots of water with lemon. It really helps that we have been having good weather for me to go walking since I have to be gentle on my knees. It is a real motiviation to have co-workers doing it with me as well, we are so competitive, but yet supportive. One of my mom's good friends husband of over 20 years passed. Since my mom told me I have been thinking about, what would I do if I lost Mr. J? I have always been a very independent woman and lived on my own for several years before moving in with Mr. J. I know that it would be a financial change, but  have been blessed with a good job that I would be able to maintain my household.  I think that it would be more emotional for me, of course.  I know that I would have a support of my family and friends during my emotional crisis. It would be hard to have someone around you that you have a special connection with just go away. I guess it is like that when anyone that you love dies. Even though Mr. J and I have been only been married for 1 year, we have been together for 10. He is a huge piece of my life. With that piece gone, how would I be as a person?  The thought of ever losing Mr. J, has me planning for the future by looking into  more life insur...

Who decided that April 15 needed to be tax day? Why are there so many cable channels? I love TV, but  I know there is  no way that I could watch all of the channels or would want to watch all the channels. Why aren't cubicles sound proof? Why can't laundry wash, fold and put itself away? Why do you always need a vacation from a vacation?

Do you have to be rich in order to be a sex addict? Does being a sex addict give you a pass on cheating? Just because it is the first warm day of the season, does it mean that it is time to pull out the "Daisy Dukes" shorts? Spring break = higher gas prices. "Why Did I Get Married Too?" is a good movie. Go see it. I went to see it this past weekend and want to see it again. Be kinda to others.....please get a pedicure (or DIY it) before you go out in public in sandals.
