5 Random Weekend Ramblings

1. Are you going to stand in line today to get flip flops at Old Navy for $1.00? I am always ready for a sale and love flip flops, but I can not see myself standing line for flip flops. Besides I think if  I brought another flip flop in the house, my husband would have a fit.
2. I just got done ready Tori Spelling's sTori TELLING. I know, I know I am behind. I really found the book interesting. It was an easy read. I watch her show and of course I watched the original 90210 that she was on. Even though she is a start I think that she seems really down to earth. The book really made me appreciate the relationship that I have with my mother.
I just purchased Mommywood and started reading it. I had to complete the set.
3. Why does every season finale of the shows that I enjoy watching have to take place on the same night and at the same time? Thank goodness for TiVo.
4. Why does healthy food have to be so expensive?
5. Why can't every weekend be a three day weekend?

It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

Wedded Wednesday: Thanksgiving Traditions

With the holidays coming,  I am thinking about how I want to spend them with the hubby. We do the same thing every year for Thanksgiving and make a road trip to spend it with his family. I usually go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving starting at 3:00am and usually come home and sleep the rest of the day. I was looking at starting some sort of new traditions on the Saturday after Thanksgiving that we can do for years to come. Maybe like putting up the Christmas tree (this is my vote), taking an annual holiday photo, doing some shopping together or maybe doing something relaxing like getting a couples massage. Of course, we will have to throw in some football and lots of left overs whatever we decide to do.Building new traditions, will be the traditions that will continue in our family  and define the holidays for years to come.  Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?
