Fill in the Blank Friday

I have not played  " Fill in the Blank Friday"  in along time, so I decided to play today.  Here are my answers for this weeks fill-ins. 1.  My greatest strength is     is being creative. Sometimes my being creative can create some fun and interesting things as well as assist me working through problems and situations. 2.    My greatest weakness is   taking on to many things at once. I thrive on getting things done and being busy, but sometimes it is to much at one time and I do not realize  it until all the deadlines are due . 3.   People always compliment me on      my baby. She is pretty cute and cuddly but I might be a little biased. 4.  If you found me procrastinating you'd probably find me    watching reality TV or playing on Facebook . 5.  The most cozy place in all the world is    my bed. I love my bed and I always have. Nothing bette...

Music Monday: Phil Collins

Happy Monday . I remember this song from Miami Vice and every time that  I hear it, I think of that show. Make today a great day.

Tag I'm It!!!

I was tagged by Faith at Love, Life and Marriage . I think that it is so much fun when I get tagged. Here are all the eleven questions that Faith  asked me to answer..... OK, here are the rules: 1. You must post these rules. 2. Each person must post 11 things about themselves on their blog. 3. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and create 11 new questions for the people you tag to answer. 4. You have to choose 11 people to tag and link them on the post. 5. Go to their page and tell them you have linked him or her. 1. What’s the #1 most played song on your iPod?  Unfaithful by Rhianna 2. What chore do you absolutely hate doing?  Laundry. I do not mind washing and drying it, but I hate putting it away. 3. What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity? My favorite outdoor activity sitting on the deck talking to the hubby or reading a good book and favorite indoor activity is watching TV. 4. What is one of your favorite quotes? I...

Weekend Sweeps

On Friday , was the end of a busy week. I have been trying to get things in order before maternity leave at work. I ended the evening by having some yummy pizza with my friend Bev and having some good conversation. Saturday , I held usher practice at church with my youth ushers. I had my family and friends baby shower. It was so much fun, but I think that I was a little cranky because I was tired. I appreciate all that my friends did for me. I will post pics and more later. After the shower since my MIL and SIL's were in-town for the shower, they came to the house for few before getting back on the road. Got to finally  relax with the hubby after all the excitement and spent the rest of the evening watching TV and talking about the stuff we were blessed with at the shower. Sunday , I attended church as usual. I think that I did a little too much on Saturday and was tired after service so I came home and laid down for a few.  I called the hubby before he left work and I as...

Wedded Wednesday: 1,2, 5 or 20 Children.....What?

Now that I am expecting, I have been looking at baby items and realizing the expense. It is not cheap. Last week, Michelle Duggar announced that she was pregnant with her 20th baby. My first thought was "What!?" and my second thought was too congratulate her.I began to think about all the expense of one child, what about 20 children ......crazy. How many children is too many children? Should society dictate how  many children each person can have? I know some countries already try to regulate this.  Personally, I think that each couple needs to decide what is best for them then adjust their lifestyle to accommodate their choice. The hubby and I have discussed that Baby J might be it for us, but who knows what will happen when Baby J arrives. What do you think?

Wedded Wednesday: More Than One Wife

I have been watching the show, Sister Wives for the past year and recently saw a show on polygamy on Our America with Lisa Ling. I really found these shows interesting and liked hearing their lives, since it is so different than mine. In watching the shows, I can only think...there is no way that I could live that lifestyle. I am not condemning how they chose to live their lives, but I can not see myself sharing my husband knowingly with another woman or two or three. I was amazed, from what I saw, how loving the these relationships were between each of the wives with the husband and with each other. The honest portrayal of these relationships, showing all the different aspects including the ups and downs, is appreciated.  I guess that whatever type of relationship that you are in, they have their ups and downs and they are different from one another. I know for myself, that my marriage is only for myself and my husband and no one else. Could you be in a polygamist marriage? What...

Weekend Sweeps and OMG

On Friday , went and did my civic duty and passed out political literature for an issue that I care about that will be voted on at the upcoming November 8 election. I enjoyed the exercise, but I was tired from all of the walking. It made for good sleep on that evening. Saturday ,  I did the normal Saturday housework and did a little relaxing.  That afternoon I went to church to assist with our Hallelujah Fall Fest. We had games, food and even have a game truck come out. If you do not know what a game truck is it is a truck that has all different game consoles in it with all different types of games. I really enjoyed exploring the game truck and think  that I had more fun in it than some of the kids. It was a really fun event and I hope that it gets bigger next year. After attending that event, I came home and watched HGtv, loving the High Low Project show,  until I went to bed. Sunday , went to church and it was really blessed service.Came home and the hubby made ta...

Weekend Sweeps and a Hodgepodge of Other Stuff

On Friday , went to line dancing class and then came home and relaxed.  Saturday ,  slept in until 2:00pm and it was wonderful. I eventually got up and went to see my friend Lynnette and her new baby Maya. She is really cute. It gave me a glimpse of what motherhood is going to entail on a day to day basis. Came home and really wanted something sweet and text the hubby to get me a piece of Crazy Craig's Carrot Cake Cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory while he was out. He said that he told the sales clerk that it was for a pregnant woman and they gave me extra whipped cream on the side. It was so good and a great way to end the evening.  Sunday , went to church and ushered. Came home and did a little housework and some cooking that would last for the week. Laid on the couch and cleared some shows from my Tivo. After the hubby got done with working on his car, we just chilled on the couch and watched some more TV. It was a good weekend, but it went so quick. I hope that ...

Weekend and a Remix

Weekend sweeps......what weekend sweeps. It was a busy weekend. On Friday , I attend a scrapbooking fellowship at my church. I was not able actually scrapbook , since I was preparing for Saturdays events. I did have a chance to assist my mom with my her page and enjoyed some good food. I came home and decorated some cupcakes to take with me to Saturdays event. I did eventually made it to bed and it felt so good.  Saturday ,   I woke up early to get to church for the women's fellowship seminar that I was the chair of. I was pleased that everyone who attended seemed to enjoy the classes that were offered and the fellowship that was had. After such a busy morning, I was ran a few errands and was ready to get home to relax. I thought that I was going to watch the OSU game with the hubby, but I got in the

Weekend Sweeps and a Hodgepodge of Other Stuff

Weekend sweeps......what weekend sweeps. It was a great weekend to do nothing. On Friday , I got off work and went to line dancing class. After class I came home and relaxed. Saturday , I did a few things around the home while the hubby went to a friends house to watch the game. It was nice, just being around the house with no real agenda. I enjoyed making the decision when I was going to housework or when I was just going to lay around the house and watch HGTv or the Golden Girls marathon in the Hallmark channel. Sunday , I went to church as usual and did more of what I did on Saturday, which was nothing. I just it was a good thing that I did nothing, because it seems that my weekends in October are slowly but surly becoming filled with activities. Have discovered some new shows like Ringer, Revenge and Body of Proof. Anyone else watching them or discovered some other new season show. Have to admit that I am glad that 19 Kids and Counting and the Little Couple are back on. I have to ...

5 Random Thoughts: Kardashian Sisters

My favorite Kardashian sister is Khloe. I think because she is sassy and had speaks her mind. Do you have a favorite Kardashian sister? Can we really compare Kim's wedding to the Royal Wedding? Really? Not quite. Kris Jenner needs to remember that she is their mother and not their sister. Do we think that Rob Kardashian is going to do better than Kim on Dancing with the Stars? I like some of the pieces in the their new line at Sears the Kardashian Kollection .
