Sweeping Through Life

Well, you know after having a baby, you may not be feeling your best. I have been feeling pretty good, but I really need to get back into my diva mood. To assist with my transition for mommy to divatastic-momma I recently made a couple of purchases. I love my new Coach purse and I got it for a great deal. I would like a fresh face for spring and summer. I have a pink lip gloss that I was given to wear on my wedding day that I really like. Since that lip gloss was purchased for me and is Giorgio Armani, I needed to find another alternative. I found a great color at the MAC counter called Lovestruck. I also purchased some of the old standards of Oh Baby and clear lipglass. The make-up lady's face looked so nice and fresh and not overdone and I complimented her on it, so she gave me so make-up tips. The tips were greatly appreciated and seem easy to do. I got my nails done for yesterday, like I do every two weeks. I initially went in with an idea of what  I wanted do this time. I saw this polish  by ICE at Walgreens that did crackle on top of whatever color that you wanted to show threw and through that it would look good for the upcoming holiday. I want the look in the picture below.     crackle I used a red polish  as the base coat called Good Girl by Sinful Colors, another Walgreens purchase. Once it started to crackle, I decided that I did not like it. I do not know if I used another color it would look better or if I just did not like the look all together.  Have any of you used crackle nail polish? What were your results? Since I did decided that I did not want to live with that look for two weeks until my next nail appointment, so I allowed my manicurist, that I have gone to for over 10 years, to do what she wanted.
