Sweeping Through Life

I am loving that the Duggers new season has started.  shoes I am loving these cute shoes for the Miss G. I am loving watching my little smile at me when I pick her up from the sitter.  I am loving the chicken salad that made  for dinner. It was really yummy on the Triscuits . I am loving that it is a 3-day weekend. What are you loving this Wednesday?

I am helping coordinate the women's weekend at my church . Normally, it is just the second weekend in October, but it has grown to a week of activities. I am trying to get all the things in order so that things are prepared ahead of time.  For the week we are using the color pink as an accent since the events are during breast cancer awareness month. As a part of the week activities, we are having a luncheon on that Saturday. I would like the luncheon to be beautiful, relaxing and transform our fellowship hall in to something special for those few hours.  Here are some of the floral arrangements that I saw that I liked. Dots Carnations Daisy I think that any of these floral arrangements will look nice with pink or white linens. Just brainstorming at this point, but I think that I am on the right track. What do you think? I will keep you posted on what I come up with.

Wonder what T.G.F.T is? It is Thank Goodness For Thursdays. Why am I so thankful this Thursday? Lets see....... Only one more day of packing my lunch this week. We are having an ice cream social at work on Friday. I can wear jeans to tomorrow. My hubby is off  today. I do not have to take Miss G to child care today because she gets to chill with daddy. Thankful that the Lord allowed me to see another Thursday. What are you thankful for ?

1. The best thing to do on a hot day is  to chill inside in the air conditioning  . 2.    The best place to be on a hot day is    sitting in a cool pool or like I said above laying in front of the TV in the air conditioning  . 3.   The best thing to eat on a hot day is      ice cream or a piece of watermelon . 4.  Hot days       make me tired and lazy . 5.  My go to uniform on a warm summer day is    " wife beater" OK,. to be more politically correct a tank top and a pair of cotton shorts with my matching flip flops  . 6.  The scent that reminds me of summer is   something fruity like lemons or strawberries    . 7.   My favorite thing about summer is    to spend time with family and friends eating some great off the grill. Miss G. actually turned 6 months a few weeks ago, I am little behind. Here is her update.... Size of Miss G.:  Miss G. was 17 1/2 pounds and 26 inches long at her last doctors visit. She getting so big. Clothes: She is squeezing into some 3 months, but is mainly wearing 3-6 to 6-9 month clothes. She is still wearing size 2 diapers, but I know she will be in size 3 in a few weeks.We had to purchase night diapers since she was waking up wet in the morning. They have really helped keep her dry. Movement: She is a little wiggle worm. She loves to play with her feet. She likes to dance and spin in her exersaucer. She really does not like to lay down unless she is going to sleep. She loves to sit up. She likes to grab for everything especially jewelry and paper. Baby stuff: The cradle cap and baby acne is still hanging around, but getting better. Miss G. loves music. We have discovered the Baby Rendition collection. This collection has taken songs from Kanye West

calm I have been a little busy with playing with the little one, hosting a cookout and getting stitches put in my thumb, but I will be back blogging later on this week.
