Weekend Sweeps

Friday
Since it was Black Friday. I was tired for most of the day, since I was at Walmart at 2:00am shopping. I did take a nap and watch some holiday HGtv with my mom. Ate lots of turkey day leftovers.

Saturday
Went to a Ohio State vs. Michigan game party. GO BUCKS!!!! Of course we owe again. After the game, the hubby and I did some shopping and came home and watched the movie Transformers (like we had never seen it before).

Sunday
Ushered at church. My mom gave me some really comfortable shoes to wear to usher in. Thanks mom. Cleaned the home and pulled out all the holiday stuff to begin decorating the home.

Hope that you had a good weekend as well.

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

Wedded Wednesday: Thanksgiving Traditions

With the holidays coming,  I am thinking about how I want to spend them with the hubby. We do the same thing every year for Thanksgiving and make a road trip to spend it with his family. I usually go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving starting at 3:00am and usually come home and sleep the rest of the day. I was looking at starting some sort of new traditions on the Saturday after Thanksgiving that we can do for years to come. Maybe like putting up the Christmas tree (this is my vote), taking an annual holiday photo, doing some shopping together or maybe doing something relaxing like getting a couples massage. Of course, we will have to throw in some football and lots of left overs whatever we decide to do.Building new traditions, will be the traditions that will continue in our family  and define the holidays for years to come.  Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?
