Thanks Alot Eve

I feel like crap (Does crap really feel? I digress.) My fibroids have decided to act up...great. I went to the doctor yesterday and she gave me some good drugs ( it makes you feel good, good, good) and told me not to go back to work for the rest of the week and gets lots of rest. I wanted to take some time off, but I did not need the pain to do it. I have be hanging out in our bedroom, with my feet elevated and snuggling with my friend the heating pad. I guess this will be my life for the next couple days. I need to get myself together since I need to hit the road with my husband for his sisters wedding on Saturday.I think that it is a little early in our marriage for me to be dipping out on family events already.

Several of my friends have issues with fibroids and even have had to have surgery to assist them with their pain. From what I have been told fibroids are more prelate in African-American women...why? Wasn't slavery enough? I have had them for sometime, but I have never had pain like this before. My husband has been worried about me the past few days and even came home early from work yesterday with chicken and noodles from Bob Evans for me. Chicken and Noodles and my drug of choice Sprite always make me feel better. I go for an ultrasound on Thursday to see what is going on and follow up appointment with the doctor next week. Just pray that everything goes well...which I am sure it will since God is able. I will keep you posted.

Love, Marriage and then a _______________

Love, marriage and then a baby carriage. I am preggers. I am 15 weeks pregnant. I know that it is not fall along, but I wanted to share our blessing on my blog. We are very excited about the little one, that we are currently calling Baby J. I have not had much sickness. I have had periods of nausea, but it is not consistent. I have noticed that my body is changing, as it should. I just guess that I was not expecting my body to change that quick.  As my friend, Bev says, " Your growing a life. What do you expect?" She is right. Really, I do not know what to expect. It will be quite a little journey as another part of me sweeping through  life.
