Halloween Party Food

I have been getting ready for my Girl's Night in Halloween party that will take place this Friday. I can not wait to see everyone's costumes. Of course, I had some moans and groans about the costume thing, but I do not care. That is the best part of Halloween besides the candy. When looking for  food ideas for my party I found a few websites that were helpful and wanted to share....
The site that I used the most was this one called Halloween Recipes. It is a simple site full of great food and party ideas. I got a lot of inspiration from this site. I want my party food to be creepy, and kinda unexpected but still taste good. The ideas on this site have allowed me to do this. I have used some of the recipes on the website, but added my own twist with either changing up some of the ingredients or how I plan on displaying the food.

I can not wait for my guest to come and see the Halloween feast that I have planned. Trick or Treat!!!

Do you have any special Halloween or fall recipes that you make? Share with us all!!

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. On the Road Again.....

It was between Chicago and the state of Pennsylvania. Well....the state of Pennsylvania won out for our little trip for our first anniversary. It is a shorter drive than going Chicago, especially since we do not want to spend most of our mini-vacation in the car. I have a co-worker that lived in Pennsylvania and she gave me some great places for us to visit like, the Phipps Conservatory, the incline at Mt. Washington and the Pittsburgh Zoo ( I think that the hubby would like the aquarium). It is hard to believe that it has been almost a year since our wedding, but I can not wait for our time away. Even though I want to see somethings while we are there, I really just want to relax. If  you know any great places to go or see in the state of  Pennsylvania let me know. We are looking at taking some three day weekend trips in the summer and maybe a week long trip to the beach in the fall.  Do you have any plans for trips anytime soon or this summer? Share we might want to g...
