Psst.....I Like Halloween

Can you keep a secret? I really like Halloween. It is the one time of year that you can be anything that you want to be. I remember being a kid and getting costumes with my mom. When I was a child dressed up as a vampire, Wonder Woman and a 50's girl with my poodle skirt and all. I think it is fun. I think that it is so fun that I am planning a girl's night in Halloween party. I have been busy trying to figure out what I want to be for the party. I have figured out what costume I am going wear for my party....but I am not going to tell you right now, it's a surprise.

I have been out looking for cool things to decorate the house for Halloween. I have had alot of fall items like things that I have purchased in the past, but this year I was looking for more Halloween specific items for the house. I have found a shower curtain, a rug, place mats and even a couch cover. I found most of the items I found at my two favorite stores, Target and the Thrift Store.

I really like Halloween. I feel that Halloween does not have to be all scary and evil, it can be fun.

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. It would be filled with antiques and have a large sitting area. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

On the Road Again.....

It was between Chicago and the state of Pennsylvania. Well....the state of Pennsylvania won out for our little trip for our first anniversary. It is a shorter drive than going Chicago, especially since we do not want to spend most of our mini-vacation in the car. I have a co-worker that lived in Pennsylvania and she gave me some great places for us to visit like, the Phipps Conservatory, the incline at Mt. Washington and the Pittsburgh Zoo ( I think that the hubby would like the aquarium). It is hard to believe that it has been almost a year since our wedding, but I can not wait for our time away. Even though I want to see somethings while we are there, I really just want to relax. If  you know any great places to go or see in the state of  Pennsylvania let me know. We are looking at taking some three day weekend trips in the summer and maybe a week long trip to the beach in the fall.  Do you have any plans for trips anytime soon or this summer? Share we might want to g...
