Wedded Wednesday

Wedded Wednesday is a collaboration
of married bloggers sharing their inspirations,

anecdotes, struggles and thoughts regarding
the amazing union of two separate people, as one.
Life is full of ups and downs, and you must know how to laugh through it. Since we just celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary, one of the things that we did was watch our wedding video. My mom had said that people had made comments to her during the wedding about us laughing and really having a good time during the ceremony. I really did not believe it, until I saw the video. We laughed most of the ceremony. We have no idea what we were laughing at, but if we were not laughing it would not be us.

Mr. J and I really enjoy laughing with each other and at each other. He always says that he likes to see my smile when I laugh. I like to hear his chuckle and see his pretty smile when he laughs. He always finds a way to make me laugh even when  I do not feel good or when I am down. Laughter has is really apart of our relationship and always has been. It is nice to have someone in your life that gets you and knows when you really need a laugh, even when it maybe at your expense (Mr. J thinks that he is Chris Rock sometimes). I have learned that through this year of marriage, even when things look bleak ...a good laugh and someone to laugh with can really carry you through.

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. Wedded Wednesday: Thanksgiving Traditions

With the holidays coming,  I am thinking about how I want to spend them with the hubby. We do the same thing every year for Thanksgiving and make a road trip to spend it with his family. I usually go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving starting at 3:00am and usually come home and sleep the rest of the day. I was looking at starting some sort of new traditions on the Saturday after Thanksgiving that we can do for years to come. Maybe like putting up the Christmas tree (this is my vote), taking an annual holiday photo, doing some shopping together or maybe doing something relaxing like getting a couples massage. Of course, we will have to throw in some football and lots of left overs whatever we decide to do.Building new traditions, will be the traditions that will continue in our family  and define the holidays for years to come.  Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?
