Fill in the Blank Friday--Fashion

It is Fill in the Blank time again. This weeks is about fashion, in which I love. Here are my thoughts....

  1. One fashion trend that I regret is MC Hammer pants. These pants should have never been made. They made you look like you pooped your pants.
  2. One thing that always completes an outfit is jewelry. From putting on a chunky gold bracelet or some fabulous feather earrings, jewelry always allows you to make a statement.
  3. I describe my personal style as ever changing. Sometimes I feel urban, others I am preppy, at times I am sloppy or hippie. My style depends on the day and how I feel and to be realistic it also depends on what I have to iron or not iron when I am getting ready in the morning.
  4. My fashion muses are Sarah Jessica Parker and Jill Scott. I love how each one of these ladies styles are every changing, but their looks are something that  looks comfortable yet chic and that I can recreate on my budget.
  5. If I could own one piece of designer clothing it would be....not just one. I have a wish list of items. I will name a few, a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes ( I especially like the royal blue pair that Carrie from Sex and the City movie one left in her and Big's apartment), a pair of Christian Louboutin black stilettos with the black bow on the heel and any Marc Jacobs bag.
  6. I would like to raid the wardrobe of Queen Latifiah, Jill Scott and  Oprah.
  7. Today I am wearing sage green knit capris pants and an olive green t-shirt. I really do not have to match since I just need to be comfortable to assist my mom with her recovery from her operation that she had on Monday.
Hope you have a great Friday. Check out more Fill in the Blanks just click here

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. It would be filled with antiques and have a large sitting area. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

On the Road Again.....

It was between Chicago and the state of Pennsylvania. Well....the state of Pennsylvania won out for our little trip for our first anniversary. It is a shorter drive than going Chicago, especially since we do not want to spend most of our mini-vacation in the car. I have a co-worker that lived in Pennsylvania and she gave me some great places for us to visit like, the Phipps Conservatory, the incline at Mt. Washington and the Pittsburgh Zoo ( I think that the hubby would like the aquarium). It is hard to believe that it has been almost a year since our wedding, but I can not wait for our time away. Even though I want to see somethings while we are there, I really just want to relax. If  you know any great places to go or see in the state of  Pennsylvania let me know. We are looking at taking some three day weekend trips in the summer and maybe a week long trip to the beach in the fall.  Do you have any plans for trips anytime soon or this summer? Share we might want to g...
