The J's Annual 4th of July Party

I am so excited and we are suppose to have great weather. It is only a few days away to our annual 4th of July party. Each year it gets bigger and better. I have so many ideas on how to decorate the house. I have already put up the 4th of July flag on the house. I need to put decorations on the door and I think that I am going to line the driveway with flags, like I did last year. Since we are suppose to beautiful weather, I am trying to think of ways to decorate the back yard. I am sure that I will think of something. Here are some ideas that I found that I might use to display the food and decorate the house.....

I am making cupcakes, but instead of making flags like they did at Martha Stewart, I think that I might make star. They might be a little easier to cute out and I can use the scrapbook paper that I already have.

I found this idea again .... thanks to good ole Martha. I think that I am going to make stars to put on the straw and put a Sharpie next to the cups so that people can put their name on the star to keep track of their glass.

I am going to get started with decorating and cooking on Friday and Saturday, since I am taking a mini-vacation over the next few days. I will make sure that I post, how I decided to decorate and all festivities. What are your plans for the 4th?

Love, Marriage and then a _______________

Love, marriage and then a baby carriage. I am preggers. I am 15 weeks pregnant. I know that it is not fall along, but I wanted to share our blessing on my blog. We are very excited about the little one, that we are currently calling Baby J. I have not had much sickness. I have had periods of nausea, but it is not consistent. I have noticed that my body is changing, as it should. I just guess that I was not expecting my body to change that quick. As my friend, Bev says, " Your growing a life. What do you expect?" She is right. Really, I do not know what to expect. It will be quite a little journey as another part of me sweeping through life.

Wedded Wednesday-- My Husband

I think that a lot of us bloggers talk about our husband, but what do we really know about them. This week I am going to tell 10 things about my husband. His name begins with a C. He is quite handy. He likes to work in the yard, on cars and fix stuff around the house. He is a grill master. He enjoys wearing hats. Like to my surprise, at our wedding he decided to wear one of his signature hats. It was not planned, but I must say that it looked very nice. He is bald, which I think is sexy. His favorite tv shows are any car show, True Blood, CSI Miami and Sons of Anarchy. He likes me to make cheese cake for him. He is very affectionate. He is very funny and loves to make me laugh. He would rather watch a movie in the "man cave" than going to the movie theatre.
