How Was My 2010? How Will My 2011 Be?

When surfing the web, I came across these questions on K Sharpe Says: Thing Ama Blog and wanted to share them. We all start to refelct on what the year was like and what we hope the new one will be. These questions may assist you in your reflective period.

1. On a scale of 1-10 how would rate 2010?

A: I would give my 2010 a 7, since there is always room for improvement. I had lots of changes from have surgery, taking care of my mom, 1st year as a wife and changing positions with in my sorority chapter. I had lots of good times, with a sprinkle of bad and a little ok.

2. Why did you give your year that score?

A: I think that I already kinda anwsered that above. There are things that I wanted to accomplish and did not or half-way did it. I do believe that things happen for reason and in due time so I do not have any regret for anything I have done or experienced.

3. What are your biggest accomplishments of the year?

A: Saving more, survining a road trip with my hubby, working out at least 1 time per week, having great times with my friends and getting to know my mom as a person and not just my mom.

4. What are the biggest lessons that you learned this year?

A:  I have learned that I need to fully trust and lean on God. He knows what is going to happen to me before it happens and He will always take care of me. I have really learned this when I am frustrated and things don't go the way that I want. He always fixes it.

5. What are the biggest goals that you want to accomplish for next year?

A: I would like to continue in my healthy lifestyle journey, be more clutter-free, continue on my building my prayer and devotional life, maybe look into starting my Ph. D, locate new date night ideas and maybe even look at adding a baby J to the family.

6. What habits do you want to cultivate?

A: Reading the Bible every day so that I can read it within a year, do some sort of workout 4 days per week, learning more health recipes and continue to become more financially responsible.

7. What are you immediate next steps in accomplishing them?

A: Start a reading plan for the Bible, set up my workout routine plan, set up a clutter removal plan and continue with my current plan for becoming more financially responsible.

Anwser the above questions....write a comment so we can see what you want out of 2011.

I will have to give these questions some thought, but this is a good idea. It gives you an opportunity to reflect on the past and at the same time jump-starting your future.

If you get moment would you recap your "Things to do in 2010" list? How did you do?

Love, Marriage and then a _______________

Love, marriage and then a baby carriage. I am preggers. I am 15 weeks pregnant. I know that it is not fall along, but I wanted to share our blessing on my blog. We are very excited about the little one, that we are currently calling Baby J. I have not had much sickness. I have had periods of nausea, but it is not consistent. I have noticed that my body is changing, as it should. I just guess that I was not expecting my body to change that quick.  As my friend, Bev says, " Your growing a life. What do you expect?" She is right. Really, I do not know what to expect. It will be quite a little journey as another part of me sweeping through  life.
