18 Weeks

Size of Baby: Still the size of a turnip. Baby J is about 5 1/2 inches long, the length of a bell pepper, and 7 ounces at this point.

Maternity Clothes: Still wearing regular clothes. Need to look into  getting some stretchy jeans.

Gender: Still not yet. Have a few more weeks before we find out.

Movement: I thought I felt something last week, but I still am not sure I am feeling anything.

Sleep: Getting lots of naps. Still resting.

What I Miss: Some of my independence of doing things around the house. I keep being told to enjoy it, but it is hard when you are trying to get something done.

Cravings: Sweets

Symptoms: Hormones. Hormones. Hormones.

Moment of the Week: When someone at work was trying to talk around  me to see if I had just been eating to many donuts or if I was pregnant.

You look great! I'm glad you're still feeling pretty good (aside from those pesky hormones).

I only ended purchasing a handful of maternity items. I'd planned to but some pants but ended up living in dresses and sandals (gotta love the GA heat).

Sounds like you have a great pregnancy with the less purchases. I luckily kept some of my pants from my heavier days to wear when I got pregnant, but some of them just look sloppy. Thanks for the compliment, I needed it.

Love, Marriage and then a _______________

Love, marriage and then a baby carriage. I am preggers. I am 15 weeks pregnant. I know that it is not fall along, but I wanted to share our blessing on my blog. We are very excited about the little one, that we are currently calling Baby J. I have not had much sickness. I have had periods of nausea, but it is not consistent. I have noticed that my body is changing, as it should. I just guess that I was not expecting my body to change that quick.  As my friend, Bev says, " Your growing a life. What do you expect?" She is right. Really, I do not know what to expect. It will be quite a little journey as another part of me sweeping through  life.

Announcing........

Girl Announcing the arrival of our beautiful baby girl Gabrielle . She arrived a little bit early and kinda unexpectedly but well timed. She arrived on February 3, 2012 at 8:05 am. We are still getting settled in at home, but I wanted to let you know that she had arrived and I will share our story and pictures later.
