Sunday Inspiration: Remember

Do you remember where you were when 9/11 occurred? I do I was working out at the gym as I watched the first tower go down. I remember the disbelief  and sadness that I felt. I just wanted to get home and call all of my friends and family to make sure that they were safe. I remember just sitting in front of the TV for the whole day with Mr. J and watching the events of the day unfold. As we remember on this 10th anniversary of 9/11, let us not forget all those who were lost, all those who were first responders, all of the families and all of those who are rebuilding.

Once you choose hope, anything's possible.

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. Wedded Wednesday: Thanksgiving Traditions

With the holidays coming,  I am thinking about how I want to spend them with the hubby. We do the same thing every year for Thanksgiving and make a road trip to spend it with his family. I usually go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving starting at 3:00am and usually come home and sleep the rest of the day. I was looking at starting some sort of new traditions on the Saturday after Thanksgiving that we can do for years to come. Maybe like putting up the Christmas tree (this is my vote), taking an annual holiday photo, doing some shopping together or maybe doing something relaxing like getting a couples massage. Of course, we will have to throw in some football and lots of left overs whatever we decide to do.Building new traditions, will be the traditions that will continue in our family  and define the holidays for years to come.  Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?
