33 Weeks

Well, 33 weeks is here. Time is just moving along. It seems to be going so quick. No pic this week. I look about the same. I am sure that I will have a picture next week.

Size of Baby:  Per Baby Center, Baby J is about the size of a pineapple. I am sure Baby J might be a little bit bigger since they were a week ahead of schedule per the last ultrasound.

Maternity Clothes: Stretch clothing. I am trying to hold out on making anymore purchases, but I might need to buy some more elastic waistband pants.

Gender: Is Baby J a girl or a boy?

Movement: Lots, lots and lots of movement.  I find it kinda funny when Baby J chooses to move and when not. Sometimes I think that Baby J is trying to move my organs around to make more more for them. Heck, maybe they are. Baby J really like to stretch out. Must take after their momma.
Sleep: Getting plenty of rest. Have been taking a nap when I get home from work or going to bed early.

What I Miss: Sitting, standing and walking normally. I have a waddle, sometimes need some more cushion when sitting and can not stand for long periods without getting tired.

Cravings: Still eating cereal. Enjoying all the holiday food. Have discovered Marazetti's vidalia onion salad dressing. Yummy.

Symptoms: Leg cramps, potty runs and swollen ankles that my hubby calls "kankles."

Moment of the week:  When I went and had a stress test this week, I thought it was funny that Baby J was kicking where the monitor was placed on my tummy like they were trying to kick it off.Baby J did it like 3-4 times, before they gave up of trying to get it off. It kinda reminded me of when of the water rippled before Jaws attacked someone.

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. It would be filled with antiques and have a large sitting area. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

Wedded Wednesday: Thanksgiving Traditions

With the holidays coming,  I am thinking about how I want to spend them with the hubby. We do the same thing every year for Thanksgiving and make a road trip to spend it with his family. I usually go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving starting at 3:00am and usually come home and sleep the rest of the day. I was looking at starting some sort of new traditions on the Saturday after Thanksgiving that we can do for years to come. Maybe like putting up the Christmas tree (this is my vote), taking an annual holiday photo, doing some shopping together or maybe doing something relaxing like getting a couples massage. Of course, we will have to throw in some football and lots of left overs whatever we decide to do.Building new traditions, will be the traditions that will continue in our family  and define the holidays for years to come.  Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?
