Weekend Sweeps

On Friday,  I had to run some errands, like picking up a new cord for my laptop and getting my travel system ( for those who do not know what that is it is a stroller/car seat combo) and was so tired I could not wait to get home and get in the bed.. Saturday,  I laid in the bed until I had to get up. It was nice to just lay around. Since my hubby had to work on Saturday, his birthday, I made some other plans. I eventually got up and  attend a friends daughters dance school rendition of The Nutcracker. It was very nice and I really enjoyed it. After that I attended my friend Lisa's baby shower. She is due the same month as me. It was a nice shower and I enjoyed playing all the games. After such a busy day, it was nice to talk to the hubby and get some much needed rest. Sunday, I attended church and then came home and enjoyed the rest of the day by watching TV and resting on the couch.

Hope that you had a good weekend!!! Just think......one more weekend until Christmas. Hope you got your shopping done.

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. It would be filled with antiques and have a large sitting area. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

Wedded Wednesday: Thanksgiving Traditions

With the holidays coming,  I am thinking about how I want to spend them with the hubby. We do the same thing every year for Thanksgiving and make a road trip to spend it with his family. I usually go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving starting at 3:00am and usually come home and sleep the rest of the day. I was looking at starting some sort of new traditions on the Saturday after Thanksgiving that we can do for years to come. Maybe like putting up the Christmas tree (this is my vote), taking an annual holiday photo, doing some shopping together or maybe doing something relaxing like getting a couples massage. Of course, we will have to throw in some football and lots of left overs whatever we decide to do.Building new traditions, will be the traditions that will continue in our family  and define the holidays for years to come.  Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?
