Weekend Sweeps


On Friday, I finished some Christmas shopping and got home in time make the hubby a home cooked meal after him being away on a business trip. I was glad to have him home. We spent the evening just vegging out on the couch. It was a nice way to end the week and start the holiday weekend.

Saturday, attend the dedication brunch for my little cousin Jisiah. He is so cute. After spending time with the family, I went home and began cooking for Christmas dinner. It was nice to cook at a slow pace. I might have to do this every holiday. It makes it less stressful. 

Sunday, it was Christmas. I attended church. While at church Jisiah was dedicated during morning service. After church, I  spent the rest of the day with family and friends. We ate, opened presents, laughed and hung out with one another. It was nice. Baby J got their first Christmas present from my mom.

Isn't it cute. I can not wait to put in the finished baby's room. It was a wonderful and relaxing Christmas.

Love, marriage and then a baby carriage. I am preggers. I am 15 weeks pregnant. I know that it is not fall along, but I wanted to share our blessing on my blog. I have noticed that my body is changing, as it should. I just guess that I was not expecting my body to change that quick.  As my friend, Bev says, " Your growing a life. What do you expect?" She is right. Really, I do not know what to expect. It will be quite a little journey as another part of me sweeping through  life.

Announcing........

Girl Announcing the arrival of our beautiful baby girl Gabrielle . She arrived a little bit early and kinda unexpectedly but well timed. She arrived on February 3, 2012 at 8:05 am. We are still getting settled in at home, but I wanted to let you know that she had arrived and I will share our story and pictures later.
