35 Weeks

Size of Baby:  According to Baby Center, Baby J  doesn't have much room to maneuver now since they are  over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds, about the size of a honeydew. Baby J is right on track as of the last ultrasound since they are 5 pounds 9 ounces as of Thursday. Baby J's kidneys are fully developed now, and their liver can process some waste products.
Maternity Clothes: Stretch, stretch, stretch.

Gender: I will tell you now..... Baby J is a girl.

Movement: Lots, lots and lots of movement. She must be trying to make room in her little tight space, since I get lots of kicks.
Sleep: Some nights it is hard to get comfortable so that I can get sleep. I do eventually fall asleep.

What I Miss: Sitting, standing and walking at times is uncomfortable. I have a waddle, sometimes need some more cushion when sitting and can not stand for long periods without getting tired.

Cravings: This week I have been making rice krispy treats. Yummy.

Symptoms: Leg cramps and swollen again.

Moment of the week:  One of my co-workers told me that I was looking so good during my pregnancy. It made me feel good.

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. It would be filled with antiques and have a large sitting area. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

Wedded Wednesday: Thanksgiving Traditions

With the holidays coming,  I am thinking about how I want to spend them with the hubby. We do the same thing every year for Thanksgiving and make a road trip to spend it with his family. I usually go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving starting at 3:00am and usually come home and sleep the rest of the day. I was looking at starting some sort of new traditions on the Saturday after Thanksgiving that we can do for years to come. Maybe like putting up the Christmas tree (this is my vote), taking an annual holiday photo, doing some shopping together or maybe doing something relaxing like getting a couples massage. Of course, we will have to throw in some football and lots of left overs whatever we decide to do.Building new traditions, will be the traditions that will continue in our family  and define the holidays for years to come.  Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?
