14 Months

Miss G is 14 months today. Wow. Miss G is growing so fast. She is reaching, climbing , walking and at times running with those little feet moving so fast. Miss G loves to play with her daddy, going for walks with her mommy, reading ( shall I say tearing ) the newspaper with Nana and having weekly phone conversations with Grandma. She is growing into her own with her little personality appearing. It has been amazing to see her discover new things and learn new things every week. I love to hear her laugh and see her smile each day. Can't wait to see what she is going to learn next.

Miss G you are so loved.

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. It would be filled with antiques and have a large sitting area. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

Wedded Wednesday: Thanksgiving Traditions

With the holidays coming,  I am thinking about how I want to spend them with the hubby. We do the same thing every year for Thanksgiving and make a road trip to spend it with his family. I usually go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving starting at 3:00am and usually come home and sleep the rest of the day. I was looking at starting some sort of new traditions on the Saturday after Thanksgiving that we can do for years to come. Maybe like putting up the Christmas tree (this is my vote), taking an annual holiday photo, doing some shopping together or maybe doing something relaxing like getting a couples massage. Of course, we will have to throw in some football and lots of left overs whatever we decide to do.Building new traditions, will be the traditions that will continue in our family  and define the holidays for years to come.  Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?
