Tot Tuesday: Miss G. Thoughts On Toys

With Christmas and her birthday Miss G., was given lots of beautiful, fun, and educational toys, but she has chosen to explore other options to entertain herself. Such as my kitchen pots, pulling things out of the recycling bin, pulling things out of my work bag or snatching her lunch bag off the kitchen counter. Thus it makes my kitchen and dining room look like a war zone every evening. It is the simplest things, that seem to bring her so much joy. She has made me look at everyday items differently by not just looking at what they are designed to do but what their potential can be. Kinda like Miss G. at this age she has so much potential and allows me to see to see the worlds potential through her eyes.

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. Wedded Wednesday: Thanksgiving Traditions

With the holidays coming,  I am thinking about how I want to spend them with the hubby. We do the same thing every year for Thanksgiving and make a road trip to spend it with his family. I usually go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving starting at 3:00am and usually come home and sleep the rest of the day. I was looking at starting some sort of new traditions on the Saturday after Thanksgiving that we can do for years to come. Maybe like putting up the Christmas tree (this is my vote), taking an annual holiday photo, doing some shopping together or maybe doing something relaxing like getting a couples massage. Of course, we will have to throw in some football and lots of left overs whatever we decide to do.Building new traditions, will be the traditions that will continue in our family  and define the holidays for years to come.  Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?
