It's Founder's Day!!!

93 Years ago today my great sorority Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. was established at Butler University by 7 school teachers.  Sigma Gamma Rho is the only African-American sorority established on an all-white campus.  I am so proud to be apart of this sorority and my alumnae chapter Delta Omicron Sigma. I know that some people think that sororities are just for college but we are still very active in our community in service, political and civic matters. I love the friendship, fellowship and service opportunities that I have through this organization. May we continue to live up to our motto 
"Greater Service, Greater Progress".   Happy Founders Day!!

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. Announcing........

Girl Announcing the arrival of our beautiful baby girl Gabrielle . She arrived a little bit early and kinda unexpectedly but well timed. She arrived on February 3, 2012 at 8:05 am. We are still getting settled in at home, but I wanted to let you know that she had arrived and I will share our story and pictures later.
