Minions Unite

Gabrielle turned 4 a few weeks ago. She chose to have a Minion party. I found lots of items at the Target dollar spot such as water bottles, minion lipgloss, pencils and hand sanitizer. I also found Minion slipper socks.  I found other items at  Oriental Trading Company.

All  the guest came in their Minion outfits and even some of the adults participated as well.

I tried my hand at cake making once again. I made some Minion food items, such as blueberries and pineapples, Minion bananas and lemonade that looked like a Minion.

We played pin the goggles on the Minion, which you can find here and Minion bingo. The kids loved it.

It was a great simple party that Gabrielle enjoyed and is still talking about.

When planning your Minion party check out Pintrest! I found lots of ideas there.

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. Wedded Wednesday: Thanksgiving Traditions

With the holidays coming,  I am thinking about how I want to spend them with the hubby. We do the same thing every year for Thanksgiving and make a road trip to spend it with his family. I usually go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving starting at 3:00am and usually come home and sleep the rest of the day. I was looking at starting some sort of new traditions on the Saturday after Thanksgiving that we can do for years to come. Maybe like putting up the Christmas tree (this is my vote), taking an annual holiday photo, doing some shopping together or maybe doing something relaxing like getting a couples massage. Of course, we will have to throw in some football and lots of left overs whatever we decide to do.Building new traditions, will be the traditions that will continue in our family  and define the holidays for years to come.  Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?
