Weekend Sweeps

This weekend was very uneventful. I had posted a few weeks ago about how I went to the doctor with my hubby, well he had his minor surgery on Thursday and I have been taken care of him.

I did take a little time on Saturday to help with a baby shower for my friend Lynnette. It was fun and she was very pleased. As soon as I get some pictures I will post them. After the shower I went back to nurse duty.

The rest of the weekend was the same, taking care of hubby, cleaning the house, taking a nap, taking care of hubby and watching TV. This seems like it will be my process of the next few days as well.

It was nice to have a little blogging break. Hope that you had a good weekend as well.

Wedded Wednesday: Thanksgiving Traditions

With the holidays coming,  I am thinking about how I want to spend them with the hubby. We do the same thing every year for Thanksgiving and make a road trip to spend it with his family. I usually go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving starting at 3:00am and usually come home and sleep the rest of the day. I was looking at starting some sort of new traditions on the Saturday after Thanksgiving that we can do for years to come. Maybe like putting up the Christmas tree (this is my vote), taking an annual holiday photo, doing some shopping together or maybe doing something relaxing like getting a couples massage. Of course, we will have to throw in some football and lots of left overs whatever we decide to do.Building new traditions, will be the traditions that will continue in our family  and define the holidays for years to come.  Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?
