16 Weeks

Thanks to  Newlywed and Decorating for allowing me to borrow her baby update format. I was not sure if I was going to chronicle all of my baby comings and goings but I thought it would be  a nice record for the future.

Size of Baby: The size of an avocado. 4 1/2 inches long and 3 1/2 ounces.

Maternity Clothes: Not yet. Wearing one size up in regular clothes for a little more tummy room.

Gender: Do not know yet.

Movement: Feeling little flutters on occasion. I was not sure if that was Baby J or just gas.

Sleep: I  am tired and then get burst of energy and then get sleepy again.

What I Miss:  Having more energy.

Cravings: None yet. Just eating lots of fruits like watermelon and fresh pineapple.

Symptoms: Hormones. Headaches on occasion. Back spasms on occasion.

Best Moment of the Week:  I have two. One, finding out that my girlfriend and co-worker Lisa, is pregnant and that she is due 3 weeks after me. Two, watching the hubby talk to my stomach. I thought that was so funny.

Fill in the Blank Friday--Sleep

1.   The last thing I do before going to sleep is         turn on the TV and set the sleep timer . 2.   When I can't sleep I      watch TV until I fall back to sleep   . 3.   The first thing I do when I wake up is     go to the bathroom . 4.   When I'm tired I      can fall asleep anywhere. I have fallen asleep in a folding chair, on a couch , outside, sitting up.....let's say when I am tired, I am tired . 5.   My dream bedroom would be       have lots of white linens and would feel very breezy. It would be filled with antiques and have a large sitting area. It would be shabby chic . 6.   If I could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning it would be        on a porch on a beach house listening to the waves roll in and the feeling the sun rise on my face . 7.   The longest sleep I've ever had was    I a...

Wedded Wednesday: Thanksgiving Traditions

With the holidays coming,  I am thinking about how I want to spend them with the hubby. We do the same thing every year for Thanksgiving and make a road trip to spend it with his family. I usually go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving starting at 3:00am and usually come home and sleep the rest of the day. I was looking at starting some sort of new traditions on the Saturday after Thanksgiving that we can do for years to come. Maybe like putting up the Christmas tree (this is my vote), taking an annual holiday photo, doing some shopping together or maybe doing something relaxing like getting a couples massage. Of course, we will have to throw in some football and lots of left overs whatever we decide to do.Building new traditions, will be the traditions that will continue in our family  and define the holidays for years to come.  Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?
