I got an award from Faith at Life.Love and Marriage .  Thank you so much. I feel so special and really appreciate the award.  image found  Why am I currently obsessed with honeycrisp and gala apples with fat free caramel dip? Yummy. Must be a fall thing. Why is it that the first day of fall that it is 98 degrees outside? Fall weather is cool at night which is great for sleeping, but it sure makes it hard to get up in the morning. When did Halloween become such a big holiday that decorations start showing up in store before the end of August? (which does not bother me since I like Halloween) Fall leaves are so pretty, but such a pain to rake up.

How do you say I love you? I recently read an article on The Hub Pages, about ways to say I love you. In reading the article I realized that I do some of the things on their list, even without thinking about it. Sometimes it is the little things that mean the most,even when we do not realize it. Here are a few ways I tell Mr. J I love him... Every morning before I leave for work I give my husband a kiss and say I love you. Make is favorite dessert. Send him a text when he is on his way to work telling him to have a good day. Laughing at his jokes. Getting a sappy card at least once a month expressing how I feel about him. Since we work different shifts we talk on each other lunch breaks. Leaving dinner out for him to come home to. Surprising him with uploading his Ipod with new music. Praying for him daily. 1. When I get a day to myself I like to veg out and watch lots of mindless tv, take a long nap or read a good book from beginning to end. 2. High school was.... fun. I was very active. I was field commander for my marching band, editor of the yearbook, on student council and a peer counselor. I really enjoyed high school and had friends from all the different cliches in high school from jocks to metal head and geeks. I enjoyed my high school renuion and look forward to attending homecoming each year. 3. A little dream I have is to be a personal shopper for a celebrity. Sometimes this dream goes away after I watch The Rachel Zoe Project. To much drama. 4. A big dream I have is to earn my Ph.D some day. 5. In preparation for fall, I wanted to treat myself to a new purse. I had thought about taking a trip to my local Coach outlet to get one ( I still might), but I was walking in Marshalls and found this baby....  Image found here Isn't she pretty? Even better, since I bought it at Marshalls I paid a lot less than getting at a retail store. I have not had a new Donney and Bourke is several years. When I was little, my mom and I used to go to the Donney and Bourke store in Pennsylvia. I wonder if is still there. I have not broke her out yet, I am waiting on the official start of fall, so one more week. Yeah!! Is there anything that you want new for fall?

I think that a lot of us bloggers talk about our husband, but what do we really know about them. This week I am going to tell 10 things about my husband. His name begins with a C. He is quite handy. He likes to work in the yard, on cars and fix stuff around the house. He is a grill master. He enjoys wearing hats. Like to my surprise, at our wedding he decided to wear one of his signature hats. It was not planned, but I must say that it looked very nice.  He is bald, which I think is sexy. His favorite tv shows are any car show, True Blood, CSI Miami and Sons of Anarchy. He likes me to make cheese cake for him. He is very affectionate.  He is very funny and loves to make me laugh. He would rather watch a movie in the "man cave" than going to the movie theatre. Friday Since I was on a little medical leave, I laid around the house all day. I was very excited about it. I watched "The Lake House" and lots of DIY and HGTv. Saturday Went to my first meeting  for this sorority year. Picture of me with some of my Sorors at a sorority event. Then went to one meeting to another that I had at church. Then I got to enjoy so time with my mommy and we went to lunch at Red Lobster and went shopping for some new Halloween items for my annual party. Sunday Went to church. How silly are you and your husband? I realize recently that my husband and I are very silly with each other. I think that is a good thing,  The other night, I realized that we were making silly sounds and faces at each other and had been laughing with each other for several hours. It was so much fun. I really do not know what started us being silly, but I really enjoyed myself. I have said before, my husband really makes me laugh. Friday Rested all day and had a little mini-vacation. Caught up on a little Project Runway, Judge Mathis and Dr. Phil with my friend Kim. Saturday Chilled with the hubby. Watched lots of HGTv and DIY network. Ate some yummy rice casserole that my friend Ginger brought over.  Sunday Hubby did some grilling while my friend Chevon and my mom came over. Had a great little bar-b-que. Watched Why Did I Get Married Too? It was a nice relaxing weekend. Hope that you had a great one too.
